Spikey One of the many things that fascinates me about Japan is its various contrasts, including the culture's strong sense of tradition/ history and change/ technological progress. I thought it would be intriguing to create an all-digital piece of artwork using traditional Japanese forms (from kimono and chiyogami) converted to vector art and output as a digital print in a format that evokes the ancient and timeless medium of a scroll. |
